They give you stickers! I've heard glowing reviews for it's ability to get rid of malware, but. The reviews are glowing.

System That it's so supposedly loved trips my paranoia. So I looked into it and I found this one site which has lots of negative reviews that make me concerned.

Looking further into it, I found numerous horror stories of users' computers completely breaking after a use of the software. Basically: is Malwarebytes a scam, and what are the chances of me, a layman, accidentally deleting something critical with it? I have Windows 8.1. First of, as others have mentioned MBAM is NOT an AV software. It is for malware, etc. Removal and should NOT be used without a good AV software. I have used MBAM Pro for about 5 years now, and used the free version for about 3 years prior.
