TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – A quartet of University of Miami men's tennis student-athletes concluded the final day of competition Sunday at the Crimson Tide Four-In-The Fall Championships. The three-day event took place at the University of Alabama Tennis Center and Roberta Alison Baumgardner Tennis Facility in Tuscaloosa, Ala. Battling Memphis' Marshall Sullivan, freshman picked up his first collegiate singles win with a 6-3, 6-2 straight set victory. In the Houndstooth Singles Draw, sophomore won his second consecutive match, defeating Alabama's Sam Fisher in a three-set thriller, 6-2, 1-6, 1-0 (10-6). Redshirt junior and sophomore both came up short in their matches. Facing Alabama's Patrick Kaukovalta, Dunlap fell 5-7, 3-6, while Grattan-Smith dropped his match against Akos Kotorman of Tulane, 3-6, 4-6.

The Hurricanes are set to return to the court next weekend, Sept. 21-23, when they take part in the South Carolina Fall Invitational in Columbus, S.C.
