I would like the developer tab to have all the functions in Mac Word as it does in Windows Word. That would include date dropdown, picture insert box, etc. Kitchen design for mac.

The 'Developer Tab' is a construct of the Windows Office 2007/2010 Ribbon UI - It does not exist in Mac Office 2008. I would go further than Bob: I am not sure that you can create 'Interactive' form fields in Mac Word 2008.

I would run Parallels, Windows 7, and a real copy of Word 2010 if you want to do that kind of thing. That's what I run on my Mac.
