Is there a fix??? No not for maybe days or weeks. If you can restore from a backup prior to changing your OS that is what I recommend. Otherwise you are stuck without Office and probably a bunch of other applications such as your printer not working on your computer until patches are downloaded from the various vendors, including Microsoft. Changes to your OS on your desktop or notebook should not be done lightly.

This hardware is not a mindless phone. And there are consequences to switching an OS prematurely before all critical applications are updated to fully accommodate the new OS.
