Microsoft Word For Mac Not Printing

понедельник 01 октябряadmin

I am running Word 2016 on a Macbook Pro 2017 (High Sierra version 10.13.3). I just downloaded the latest version of Word 2016 (16.9.1) and now I cannot print from Word. I can print from Safari, Adobe, OneNote, Excel, Powerpoint, and ALL other platforms on my computer, but Microsoft Word won't even open up the print dialogue box. I cannot even access the print dialogue box from the File menu or by using 'command-P'. I have restarted my computer, checked keyboard shortcuts, nothing works.

Start Word 2007, and then open your document. On the Review tab, change Display for Review box to Final in the Tracking group. Click the Microsoft Office Button, and then click Print. In the Print dialog box, click OK to print your Word 2007 document.

I have also cleared all Microsoft packages from my computer (all containers, group containers, etc. - per instructions on Microsoft's website) and reinstalled Office 2016 TWICE.

Nothing seems to fix this Word issue. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Word typing is also super slow. Word 2016 on Mac is probably the worst thing to happen to my academic career. Excuse me, but what 'test' did you run? I ran your suggested test in Safe Mode on my MacBook Pro, same config as Dr. • Greyed-out 'Print' is not the issue.

When selecting 'Print', no print dialog appears at all. • Also, every other application prints fine. PowerPoint, Excel, Safari, everything. • This is clearly related solely to Word. • And this condition appeared after the last AutoUpdate cycle.

Is there any error reporting protocol that I can follow to send you results? Your attention to this is appreciated. I am running Word 2016 on a Macbook Pro 2017 (High Sierra version 10.13.3).

See here: Even with the 2nd 16xx update Microsoft wasn't able to fix the problem. I am having these EXACT SAME ISSUES as the ones described here. I own a 2017 MacBook Pro running on MacOS High Sierra (Version 10.13.5) and I run Microsoft Office Word (Version 16.5) on an Office 365 Subscription that I get as a student through my university.

Microsoft word for mac background color not printing

Both my MacBook Pro and all of its software as well as my Microsoft Office programs (including Word) are up to date with the latest versions. 1) PRINTING: When I open up Microsoft Office Word and go to Print (whether I click on the Print Icon at the top of the window next to the undo/redo icons, go to File > Print, or press Command + P), nothing happens whatsoever. The file does not print, NOR does the Print Dialog box even open. Shading in word for mac.

There isn't even any pause or attempt to load anything. It is as if those buttons do not do anything. 2) SAVING AS PDF: When I go to save my word document (which is in.docx format) as a PDF, I get a message that says, 'The Document 'Document 1' could not be saved as 'Hello'.' There is no error code or nothing that specifies what the problem is. When I go to File > Save As > File Format > Export Formats > PDF, it gives me two options from which I can choose: the first is 'Best for electronic distribution and accessibility (uses Microsoft online service)'.

The second is, 'Best for printing'. Initially I had this problem with both options, but now I am only having this problem with the second ('Best for printing') option. So while I can now save my word documents in PDF format using the first option (' Best for electronic distribution and accessibility'), it is still frustrating that I cannot save them using the second option ( 'Best for printing') as I need this option available too for when I do need to print my documents. Furthermore, I am concerned that the issue may revert back to neither of the two options working.

I first noticed these issues occurring the other day, so I tried troubleshooting the problems by searching for solutions on Google but no luck. I then called Microsoft Customer Support for which I spent over an hour on the phone with them. They walked me through several troubleshooting options (such as quitting Word and restarting it; deleting all of my Microsoft Office programs and all of their content/packages/containers/etc., restarting my computer, then re-downloading and reinstalling the Microsoft Office programs; etc., etc.
