Why Another Markdown Editor? I write Markdown all the time, and since I use macOS on a daily basis, Mou is my go-to editor whenever I wish to generate something with markup. MarkdownPad is a full-featured Markdown editor for Windows. Markdown is a text-to-HTML conversion tool for web writers. Markdown allows you to write using an easy-to-read, easy-to-write plain text format, then convert it to structurally valid XHTML (or HTML).

All you need for writing in Markdown is here, and blazing fast! Enhanced CJK Support Write in Chinese, Japanese or Korean? Mou fully supports CJK Characters! View Control Toggle live preview and layout orientation. Write in Chinese traditional way using vertical layout. Custom Themes Choose a built-in theme you like, or create your own.
