Full GPU Accelerated Video Processing Full GPU Level-3 Hardware Acceleration fully powered by Intel, AMD and NVIDIA GPUs means you get much faster video processing with VideoProc compared to a lot of the free competition. With support for 370 input codecs and 420+ output formats, it offers a 4K-capable video converter that can handle anything from simple to more complicated transcoding needs. Whether you’re uploading videos to a service like YouTube, sharing videos via Instagram or Twitter, or simply backing up your favorite videos, there are many reasons you might want or need to convert, transcode, or resize a video you shoot on your iPhone, GoPro, drone or other camera once getting it into your Mac. With VideoProc, you’ll be able to handle more common tasks like going from H264 to H265 (HEVC), MKV to iPhone/MP4, AVI to YouTube-compatible formats, and also more intensive processing such as converting 3D to 2D video. Editing tools Rather than having to use a separate app for quick edits and adjustments before converting or processing a video, VideoProc provides built-in tools for easy edits like crops, rotating, subtitles, one-click effects, and merging multiple video clips together. It also provides more advanced tools for things like stabilizing videos, noise reduction, creating gifs, lens correction, adding watermarks, and more. Screen Recording A screen recorder function in VideoProc offers 3 recording modes allowing you to record your Mac or iOS screen or record from your camera while recording your screen at the same time using a picture-in-picture mode. Final edit: I want to thank everyone who took the time to reply and help me out! I took everyone's suggestions into account and I've made my decision and I think I'll be happy with it! I decided to get the top model of the MBP from Best Buy. So it will have the 2.6GHz, 512GB SSD, 16GB RAM.

I did this for a couple reasons, first I would have done the 2.2GHz with upgraded storage, but Best Buy only offers the upgraded storage with the 2.6GHz model. I would have gone to an Apple Store, but nearest is a couple hours away and I really want to maintain my Elite Plus status at Best Buy, which requires like $3,500 spent a year at BB. I think that I'll be happy with this especially coming from an older MBP. --------- I'll try to keep this short and sweet.

2018

I'm in the market for a new MacBook Pro. I will mainly be using the MBP for photo editing, video editing, and coding. I currently have a base model early 2015 13' MBP. I always like to get other's opinions before making a big money decision so that's why I'm posting here. I was looking into the 2018 15' MBP. I'm starting to get a lot more client work and I feel like the upgrade will be good.
