Liber Office For Mac

My problem is framerate with retina displays. Microsoft Office runs at a buttery 60FPS while Libreoffice runs under 30FPS. I've tried LibreOffice on multiple Macs and I can't stand it, I've tried many different configs with OpenGL. Non rentina Macs LibreOffice feels fine but I just can't use it until they improve the preformance. I'll try it every and now to check but it's still not maching Microsoft Office in fluidity.

I only recommend LibreOffice on Linux or Windows, if a smooth experience is important to you. I've troubleshooted this issue heavly. What's really weird is OpenOffice runs more smoothly! Which is backwards to me. I wish I was a programmer so I could help. This certainly helps a lot! (LibreOffice 5.x + LibreOffice 6.1.2.1 on macOS Mojave and MacBook Pro Late 2013 and Mid 2017.

LibreOffice was slow for me since Sierra, I think. Free recording software for mac. Maybe since El Capitan.) Also I now noticed: when I launch LibreOffice and it happens to open the document window on external display (QHD, not hidpi), scrolling is fast. When I drag the window to Retina display, it becomes slow. When I drag it back, it remains slow.

If the window at least once touches Retina display, it becames slow. Checking Run in low resolution prevents that from happening of course. • • • • • • •.

Retina Display Retina Display (marketed by Apple with a lowercase 'D' as Retina display) is a brand name used by Apple for its series of IPS panel and OLED displays that have a higher pixel density than traditional Apple displays. Apple has applied to register the term 'Retina' as a trademark in regard to computers and mobile devices with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, Canadian Intellectual Property Office, and in Jamaica. On November 27, 2012 the US Patent and Trademark office approved Apple's application and 'Retina' is now a registered trademark for computer equipment. When an Apple product has a Retina display, each user interface widget is doubled in width and height to compensate for the smaller pixels. [ ] Downvote to remove v0.28 • • • • • •.
