How Do I Get Amazon Ebook On My Kindle For Mac

среда 07 ноябряadmin

Yes, Amazon provides Kindle Create, Kindle Create Add-in for Microsoft Word, Kindle Textbook Creator, Kindle Comic Creator, and Kindle Kids’ Book Creator for creating eBooks in Kindle format. Each of these Kindle authoring applications lets you add unique reading features that are optimized for each book category. I’m not sure what you’re trying to do. The app goes on each device, not the device on the app. When you log in from each device, using the same login details, on your “Manage your Kindle” page on Amazon’s website, each device will be shown, with its unique kindle email address.

I have ebook files scattered all over the place and it's really confusing. I can't locate where on my MacBook Air my Amazon ebook library is. The Kindle app on my Mac (High Sierra) says: chipahoy/Library/Application Support/Kindle/My Kindle Content. However, there are only a few ebooks listed there, and my Amazon ebook library is a few hundred files. There are also ebook files located at: Kindle/Data/Library/Application Support/Kindle/My Kindle Content/ and Library/Containers/com.amazon.Kindle/Data/Library/Application Support/Kindle/My Kindle Content Then, I have my Calibre library.

Can I have them all in one place, like where my Calibre library is? What is the best way to designate where they should go, and will it be recognized by Amazon? Thanks for any help. Can you clarify what your goal is?

I can say a few things from experience: • Your Kindle library is primarily displaying kindle books that exist in the cloud (which means the kindle files exist on Amazon’s servers, not your computer). They are not, initially, existing on your local computer (and that folder you listed). • When you download the book in your Mac Kindle App, they will now exist in the folders you listed. So if you want all your kindle files on your computer, you need to first download all kindle books via the Mac Kindle App. They will then show up.

• But they need to remain in that folder for the Kindle Mac app to read the book. You can, of course, make copies. Video player for mac to rewind slightly. But due to DRM, other apps won’t necessarily be able to read it. And if I better understand your question now: Perhaps Kindle Mac app updated, and switched from one folder to another, in terms of where to store kindle book files.

Hopefully, when you do download all your Kindle books, you’ll see then all in one folder (no longer scattered). Also, google how to remove DRM and convert Kindle to ePub using Calibre.

That’s helpful for • Backing up your kindle purchases (especially removing drm control) • Being able to send those books to any app or device because they are now ePub • Collecting all your digital books and backing them up in one central location, like in Dropbox • Sharing digital books with friends/family • • • • •.

You love your Kindle, but you hate the DRM. What do you do? Well, if you like, we'll tell you how to strip the copy-protection from your e-books, leaving a plain, vanilla e-book file in the format of your choice. This doesn't just work for Kindle book, either.

The method, detailed by Apprentice Alf, will also remove DRM from Mobipocket, Barnes and Noble, Adobe Digital Editions and Fictionwise books, making these stores much more attractive to buyers. For the meat of the how-to, you should visit Apprentice Alf's blog post, which is both straightforward and detailed. I managed to get it up and running in a couple minutes. For a quick version – focussing on the Kindle, read on. First, get a copy of the free e-book manager, Calibre. This catalogs and converts your e-books from format to format. With a couple of plugins, it will also strip all DRM from them.

Then download Kindle for Mac or Window, and from there download the books you have already bought and want cracked. Then locate the downloaded files on your hard-drive. Mac users will find them in a folder called My Kindle Content, inside the documents folder. These are titled with non-human-friendly names like 'B002AU7MEK_EBOK.azw', so just pick anything that seems to be a big enough file for an e-book (500k-plus). Then drag these files into Calibre. Your files are now DRM-free, and you can use Calibre to convert then to any format.
