Crashing/System [!!] Running minecraft destroys both my computers. Slow as heck. I then permanently deleted all the files of minecraft and they both work now. Please help, I am now forced to play classic and 360. [!!] After starting Minecraft and selecting a world, the game instantly closes itself without an error log.

Running on XP SP3, Java 1.7.0_05-b05 with 2GB RAM. Error log is generated, available upon request. [!!] My Minecraft was working perfectly fine a few days ago. I can play on my browser but now when I try clicking on the icon on my desktop, it just lights up but no login screen appears. I have everything up to date and have Windows 7.

There aren't any crash reports. [!] Randomly when I am playing my Single Player Survival Mode the game glitches and locks up. I have re-downloaded MC and I have the latest update to java.

The issue is, when I log back into MC (which I have no problem doing) my world is gone. This has happened to me twice now.

All of the data that was in use was erased so my world disappeared from my world list and files are missing in my.minecraft/saves folder even though my worlds still are listed. The first occurrence was when I was chopping a tree I got a green screen and my computer locked up.

The second occurrence was when I was opening a double chest and I got a grey screen and my computer locked up. Both times after I had to restart my computer my world files were erased. I have updated to 1.2.5 and have no issue logging into minecraft. I have no idea how to recreate the event since a crash log wasn't generated nor was there any specific instance where the error occurred because due to a specific trigger.:* Backup your Worlds them Delete your.minecraft Folder. Install Again -- [!!] After downloading the Minecraft.exe file, and launcing it, the game stops downloading. After a while it says 'Fail to launch. Fatal error occured (4): connection reset.

I have tried to reinstall Java 7 and disable firewalls. I have also deleted all previous Minecraft files but nothing have worked. [!!] If I go on this one sever it will say its loading for a few moments then give an black scren with a split-second error then just stay black I cant close it untill it hits the black screen I played on this sever many times including just before that crash I turned the pc on and off and opened minecraft over and over! This bug happens sometimes and stops but now it crashesh on the sever all the time help! -gregdsi [!!] Strangly, I am incapable of deleting any worlds. Because of this, my game crashes often, due to memory being too low.

Your mouse will not show up for a few seconds, and clicking X will not close minecraft. You will have to FORCE QUIT minecraft in order to close it.

-- 12:41, 13 July 2012 (UTC) [!] Sometimes, when joining a multiplayer server, only a few chunks will load, and ALL MOBS AND PLAYERS are stuck on your screen. You will get a 'Read timed out' error. I tried to chat and when i did minecraft crashed! Crash report for a sec that WALA black screen. TESTED MULTIPLE TIMES when i try other servers it just crashes but no black screen. It is the brown screen that you get when logging in but with no Logging in or Polling.

I know it's been a while since you originally posted this review, but I'd like to check back with you to see if you're still having these issues. Sophos for mac.

[!!] On OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion, Minecraft will not launch unless Allow Applications download from Anywhere is selected in the Security & Privacy System Preferences. If 'Mac App Store and Identified developers' is selected, the error message is: Minecraft is damaged and can't be opened. Changing it to Anywhere allows the program to launch without error.
